For the trouble it's worth, i'd drop in a 4.0L, cheaper, more power, great on fuel and just all-round shit loads better. Just my 5 cents.

I'd use 0 gauge to a distribution block. But that's what I'd do. Others will chime in im sure..

pro's of e85; can run monster compression (13:1 on alloy heads), make huge power because of that compression, it smells good, you can run high boost if you want, basically if you want power its the way to go, e85 also produces more torque, though slightly less hp

cons; its not overly easy to come by just yet, though it is becoming more and more popular, you have to plumb your fuel system to suit (no biggy anymore, even gates makes fuel line to suit e85), you use more of it (same ratio as LPG basically)

i'm working out at the moment if i want to go e85 or not..... im so tempted because of the monster compression.... make a motor so snappy.

united lists every servo that sells e85 on their website, so that's handy!

That guy must be having a laugh... Max 10 bucks worth of pipe, another 10 for welding wire/gas, and $260 left for labour? I would be shitty if quoted half that!

E85 will require a fair bit of stuffing around. E85 eats normal o'rings etc so you would have to replace everything rubber in the system with E85 compatible stuff.  Unless it's LPG only forget it. Stick with old 91 unless you have some mods in mind.

Ford_Man.. That description of what you have is so mixed up it hurts me to read it .

Transgo rebuild kit?  Transgo make shift kits for valvebody's . not rebuild parts .

Manual Valve Body?? A Transgo stage 3 kit maybe to convert to manual?? Or maybe reading further on I think you have parts from PTC? One of their MVB? If so good choice

R series billet servo?? No such thing. R servo is a factory servo on a lot of Clevo C4's . A very good servo all the same . The billet servo are either based on a H servo  ( P.A or TCI ) or the most popular being the Sonnax brand with the purple cover being based on a C servo .

4 pinion planet + good . likely from PTC . Very nice piece .

HiTuff 4340? Input shafts are either Hituf or 4340, 2 different types .

6 clutch fwd moly hub?? The Chrome moly hub from PTC is a nice piece . The hub is one piece , the 6 clutches is separate really , usually the 6 clutch is for the high/reverse though I do put 6 clutches in the forward in a trans behind a motor making a lot of torque . For interest I have tried 5 forward clutches  with 600+ RWHP and no sign of any slip

Not picking here , just trying to help you understand what you have

Ah yes the old C10 thing again lol . Good to see you mention Gassed250   No such thing. They are all C4 , C10 is a slang term for a Clevo Pan fill trans

Now to the original question. A C4 built right will laugh at 500 HP. A C6 is a good choice also. The FMX will work too, prob not the wisest choice but if you had FMX already it can work ok .

Some of the new types of paper are crap for doing windows now, if your'e in a country town you'll find some of the smaller newspapers use a lower quality paper and I find them the best for cleaning glass.

Use a tapered punch and work your way up in size until a 1/2" or 3/8" npt hose fitting will fit just inside the tapered hole you made from the punch. Next use a air ratchet or rattle gun to screw the fitting in.
No sparks, no heat or swarf using my method. Done that on several engines that are still in the car all with success.

I took my leafs to Simon at pedders in Frankston. Seriously one of the best blokes to deal with.
Told him what I wanted and left my leafs with him. He ended up using BA leafs and I got my originals back. Mind you, cost less then a slab of premo bourbon's..
    Couldn't recommend them enough really..

I like the sound of the weezer in this vid.
It proves that the can sound truely awesome.
    Go to 4.30min mark.

That deep thump/rumble, is almost identical to what my stock 3.5ltr Rangie has,
with it's single system Lukey Turbo chambered muffler.
They get a real rasp/reverse flow sound, around 4k.

Cost me $500 - $600, for a brand new bare head - aftermarket, through the engine builder I use.
    (a mate of my uncles)

The NOS 91AA Head, was about $300 off ebay, still in the Ford box,
and came with new standard valves, and sec/hand springs, retainers, collets - all of which I discarded.

I highly recommend the mgw shifter. Put simply it's fucking awesome! Do a few google and YouTube searches.. I got mine directly through mgw in the states. It's a mustang t45/t5 race shifter.

Looks great and flows big numbers, really nice work there. Huge ports on it but being boosted it will be alright. The only thing I worry about with what he has written is that the pipemax flow rating required is with the manifold and throttlebody in place not just the head flow figure so I hope he still gets the flow he wants, the intake manifold I've realised is probably the biggest part of getting the numbers you want, the best head in the world can still be choked by a shit manifold. This bloke is obviously onto it and has probably sorted the manifold and everything else as well, Thanks for posting that up Dave
PS The other guy on that thread PM308 is Pete over in Vic and is a great bloke, has given me plenty of advice and is one of the best around, much better than me hahahaha

Well the car sounded wild while it lasted LOL, the rev limiter didn't work and she spun well past 7000 and chucked a rod, destroyed everything including the head. The owner reported that the car had tons of power and pulled top gear no worries and was like a 2 stroke in the upper rpm range. I've just done another head for this guy who is now going to run a 3/71 blower on it just for fun.

you are correct Au uses a different base circle to e series, and if you mix and match can lead to broken rockers/ bent valves (seen it done once and it wasn't pretty after the first attempted start
