No worrys mate just make sure you put new timing set on, and i would recommended dialing it in to bro using a good run in paste and some penrite oil but you probs know all this to, i think the camtech was about 480 posted to tas with anti pump up lifters but your closer and wont need pump ups so id say about 400 would set you back, 

fit a super mega drag cam that will wake up a otherwise stock engine have a small lope that will not make the cops think its somthing thats had work

hey Jason i ran i camtech ct142 - 520a/110 lobe sep, 540 lift. ( custom grind ) was a sweet cam ran on almost stock bottom end had a nice lope at idle and made 143 kw at wheels good pull from about 1800- 5800rpm but you probs wont spin yours that hard i did. will make good power till about 4500rpm on the stock top end after that you will brake something, will post vid to give you idea of sound this is very similar grind cam but not the camtech. 
 
 

I've got a crow 619 here that I am just about to put into a fully rebuilt 250 bottom end.  look for the mad scientist engine thread coming soon, but it will be far from tame..  lol.

ive got a 2v headed 351 ,a 302 w ,a 4l ef motor ,,n 3x barra motors ,i cant make up my mind ,i originally bought a 460 and c6 ,then changed my mind

OK so after removing the old 28 spline axles from my locked diff the decision had to be made to move on to another axle.The old ones have some chatter marks in em already so thats not a good thing and will only get worse.I'm thinking 31 spline Strange unit's may be the go now.
 
Any way got it down on its feet and it is exactly how I wanted it...

Haha true that my little rodeo that i use to drive around was very light in the back end by that i mean i could pick the rear end off the ground by myself and i dont lift weights haha that use to skip around corners

Smart move. You will notice there is no thread titled 'my Holley won't idle properly and seems to lose tune all the time'. That's cause it doesn't f..ken happen.

One can skid with enough beer and laxatives.

I've always thought a skid was a burnout without using your brakes ( power skid ) and a burnout is using your brakes so you can just sit there smokin it up....
