noddy reacted to wagoon in 16" tyres brands and sizes
This idea is not for everyone but have you thought about 4wd tyres. Because of all the soft roaders now, they make highway terrain tread pattern but in 235 and 245 widths with various profiles plus 4wd tyres will last alot longer. The speed rating will be fine but you may want to check the load rating as you have a ute, I know the load rating is fine for sedans.

noddy reacted to Ando81 in Broken Exhaust - suggestions for new?
And to be totally honest, loud pipes save lives. I have proven this many times. Not once have I ever had people walk out in front of me in my sedan with the noisy pipe on it but plenty of times have had people walk in front of my ute which is stock system. It's too quiet and people don't hear you coming. Also if you drive up behind pedestrians walking or cyclists, they don't seem to hear a vehicle with a quiet pipe.

noddy reacted to bear351c in Water! in the car
Note : Dont use Silastic to fix the windscreen. It contains Acetic acid, which will cause "fog" on the glass. Use the corrct Black Mastic stuff, should stay tacky for about 125 years.........and cannot be removed from the skin. :D

Then it's like mine and leaking through the windscreen at the top and rolling down behind the pillar trim down to the liver panel took me awhile to figure it out re chalk the windscreen no leak

That part number I supplied is for 5/16 bolt on 1.73 ratio
Edit: see page 7 of the scorpion catalog bottom left hand corner last part listed on the page. You can down load the catalog of the scorpion website, is about 8MB in size.

noddy reacted to ILIED in How do YOU put your nine inch together?
Yeah, I spent ages getting the broken parts out, but I think it was tungsten, not steel.
I run a big fuckoff magnet on my engine sump. I think I'll take that advice and put a magnet in that plug in the diff when I get my wavetrac back
