    i have always thought the steering on my xb was as good as any of the xfs i drove, if not better
     
    ive got bf xr8 brakes on my xb , standard uprights ect. unbelivable stopping power lol

    apart from the coulor difference, that looks like my xceedy 1000$ clutch lol. I will give this clutch kit a go next time i think ive only heard good things from sunbury brakes!

    Lol the bird who rego inspected my 5.0 nc on thursday brought out an inspection camera, sussed the drivers side, looked puzzled, walked back inside lol

    If you had a chassis dyno and unlimited time , or even just roadtesting it / tuning / roadtesting again ect how do they tune it for max advance over all the range? do they just keep adding timing untill it pings then back it off ? 
     
    or have i been doing it wrong on my cortina ect lol

    To properly tune the sub u defintly need a seperate rca out for it, and lpf / hpf and a subsonic filter! I suppose you could get away with just 2 rca outs with a ute , as you would prolly use just the rear ??

    if it helps  , i had the same problem, bled the shit outta the brakes lol, diddnt help. the only thing i couldnt try was using the injector style of bleeding them

    There a bit expensive for how old they are , but there pretty strong boxes. the money u save over buying one instead of a TKO, you would spend on buying a custom dellowect bellhousing IMO

    Sure was mate, took 2 days to work out the problem, was driving us crazy over something so simple! It's an awesome conversion, nice power upgrade, efficient and practical. Thank god the hardest part is over!
     
    Here is a vid of it's first proper start up. Happy days

    You will need to either get the top shaft also with that rear housing or get your falcon one cut down and drilled to take a roll pin to hold the shifter ball mechanism.
     
    Then just unbolt the 4 bolts for the shifter.
     
    Knock the roll pin out with a punch.. be carefull when taking the shifter bit out because theyre is a spring and it could go anywhere. and to remember how it goes back togethor.
     
    unbolt the bolts to slide the back of the housing off.. then either swap the top plate over to mustang one. or cut and redril the falcon shaft to suit.
     
    then cut the floor to suit.

    I would get it running on straight petrol, then add the lpg. will be fair easier and better to troubleshoot. 
     
    as far as converter / mixer setups . u can keep the existing gas setup on your car , and just add a mixer and converter pretty much
     
    getting the petrol running will require an EFI fuel pump and all that . so thats why i suggest you do that first. 
     
    LPG vapor injection isnt, IMO, very user friendly/simple, if ure lpg injection system in underrated , horsepower wise, it will need a system to switch it on the fly to petrol. ive driven an au duel fuel like this. not sure about other oem setups
     
    most (if not all?) of the vapor injection kits run a piggy back off ure existing ecu as well.
     
    do you have a car ure pulling all of this out of ? would make it 100x easier
     
    if you go mixer type u could use an impco 425 with a efi/hose/flange?adaptor on the end so u can actually plumb it onto the throttle body, that way u get to keep the intake manifold that the car comes with

    these guys sell heaps of adaptors and stuff for lpg. 
     
    i would use the 425 mixer as the standard au 6cyls have a bit of power , you dont really wanna set it all up and then realize uve put a huge restrictive gas mixer in the intake

    +1 for the straight gas. will help simplify things, will also help with getting it engineered (if you wanted to)
     
    just weld up the injector holes if u wanna go a mixer / converter type setup
     
    u wont need an ecu that way so a lot less wires..

    Yeah might get the lines made up in the USA and sent over, not sure, i know a year or so i priced it up and it was cheap, the dollars gone to shit now though lol
     
    Motor already has a torker 2 on it , impco 425, so should be sweet there
     
    if i decide to leave the aircon on the motor/, but not yet plumb it, will it ruin the ac pump?
     
    one of the welsh plugs on the side of the block is a bit Iffy lol. Are any brand welsh plugs alright or should i get brass ones/screw in ones/??

    the e series 02 will go straight in the bolt pattern for the bell housing is the same the sump is the same,you might need to chase down your local pirtik man to make you 2 power steering hoses take off the efi inlet manifold and ditch that ,use the electronic dizzy its really easy to wire up ,leave the serpentine belt were it is ,if you delete the aircond you can you a short belt to get around that, the factory headers ford used will go straight in as well
     
    make sure you use all the senders from your old motor temp oil etc

    How do i tell which block i have? im pretty sure i have a later 250 prexflow. judging from the amount of welch plugs?
     
    Pretty sure it isnt going to work though?
     
    Mark can i borrow your flywheel i just realised i have another block sitting at home!

    8.0mm ones .. rubbish . the ends come off and ive had heaps of problems with them
