    • Thanks for the Quick response .  Will buy a new one. Will put a temporary join in it ,as slow postal over Xmas.     Thank's Again
    • Diff Breather hose. as the diff warms up, it would build pressure if it wasn't for that breather (would push oil out the seals etc if blocked)
sometimes it's long enough to just cut it clean and reconnect it,
i've put joins in them in the past using a bit of steel fuel line pipe etc.

can probably find one cheaper than this link (first one i found on google)
      https://superoo.com.au/products/diff-breather-hose-kit-64-70-usa-can-use-on-most-xk-f-za-l-p5-fe?pr_prod_strat=e5_desc&pr_rec_id=e4f862ad5&pr_rec_pid=7724081774818&pr_ref_pid=1955847209048&pr_seq=uniform
    • G'day All          Was Replacing my handbrake cable and noticed an
Old Rear  hose has torn. As all brake lines are connected....Not sure what this line is for....Must buy a manual.
    • Hey thanks Bear  Doing XG SPAC cluster conversion to XF & Oil sender specific to a few models.  Luckily I've found correct VDO 360.013 for about half the price than alot were asking ($145 incl shipping to NZ). Was thinking though the oil pressure sender i already have screwed into my Cleveland block is reading a independent oil pressure gauge but I probably need this VDO sender to read the one in the XG cluster.... Think I was kinda keeping you updated with my engine mods & had CHI top end bolted on,really happy with that driving away but sprung a intake manifold leak & have parked car up now to early in the new year when it'll be fixed . On the other hand though very happy also found wiring diagram for cluster conversion on XF FALCON page & thought may have needed XG fuel sender but apparently can swap XF fuel needle & wire the XF gauge into the XG cluster, happy day's 💥
    • Clevo's dont have an extension, bud, you're thinking of Windsor maybe? They had an extension out from around where the fuel pump is. Clevo use a specific sender, VDO 360.001, I think, and if my brain is working, they were NPT (National Pipe Thread). Not sure if the newer blocks used metric fine or something.
    • The T5 will depend on driving style
    • I always remember Project Binky saying something along the lines of we will be lowering the car and adding a set of rims.. I think the kids call that "slammed and rimmed" DON'T GOOGLE THAT!
    • Haha, missing & then adding the word pressure in oil pressure sender completely changed Google search answers 🤦😅
    • Thanks as always Dean, really appreciate your replies 99.9% of the time.  I found another post on XF FALCON with wiring chart for cluster conversion & at first thought I'd needed to find a XG fuel sender but this bloke rewired the XF fuel gauge component & needle onto the XG cluster,BOOM 💥 it worked
    • if it doesn't (I'm sure it does.. reason to follow) there will be an adapter available.

But, i'm going by my memory here, My brother fitted a clevo in an XF falcon with the ghia cluster and used the XF oil sender (crossflow)
I have used the EB (same as XG) oil sender in My XF using the same conversion (EB cluster into XF)  and they all screwed in as expected.

from memory the clevo had an extension on it so you could get a spanner under it, the XG ones are quite long already, so won't need that extension thing to be used if it has one already.
