XFChris 126 Posted January 6, 2014 Hey all, I'm on the search for a good exhaust shop in South East Melbourne, good as in does high quality work for a reasonable price, will do what you ask of them and won't screw you around. I pretty much need a full system done in mandrel and mild steel. Any places to recommend? And sort of on the same topic, people could list up good exhaust shops for a specific area of vic, and it could work like a directory for Vic Ozfalcon users who are looking for an exhaust to be done in their area. XFChris 126 Posted January 6, 2014 I'm in the Casey area, but I am willing to travel. Eastern and Southern suburbs are no problem for me.
Thom 6,694 Posted January 6, 2014 if you are willing to travel to sunbury sharp exhausts (03) 9744 5005 he was the only one who would take on doing a dual exhaust for my El wagon 1 Trev Vaa reacted to this

XFChris 126 Posted January 6, 2014 Happy to travel a fair distance if the price makes it worth it. Hardest thing the exhaust guy will have to do is remake my secondary. I'm keen to hear the EL with duals too
Thom 6,694 Posted January 6, 2014 the dual exhaust cost me $700 from the cats back
Ants 6,370 Posted January 6, 2014 The lh one on the xd was a fucking nightmare, we had to snake it around the filler neck/sender/chassis rail/tyre.not fun and a very slow process.

Thom 6,694 Posted January 9, 2014 can't find a video of the wagon, looks like you will have to wait until the engine is rebuilt and re-installed
SPArKy_Dave 9,235 Posted January 10, 2014 Did you get a pic of how they ran the LH tailpipe?
Thom 6,694 Posted January 10, 2014 that's the best I can do at the moment, the pipe is kinda just hanging there because the center section on the exhaust isn't bolted up to it

XFChris 126 Posted June 5, 2014 I'd consider making my own if I knew how to weld. Might organise an exhaust soon, getting tired of driving an XF with a standard exhaust, it's a little too quiet for my liking 1 iCat reacted to this
