Same heater box though to XH, if the plugs are different just swap them over.

I'd pull it out and check the heater core.

Aren't the AC lines different too? Won't matter if you aren't using that.

Oh, and keep away from circuit breakers, they aren't the most reliable way to go, and when it comes to power, you don't wanna risk it.
    Can't go past proper fusing.
Fusible links aren't hard to find, try a local car audio specialist or auto electrician, failing that id check EvilBay...

I'd use 0 gauge to a distribution block. But that's what I'd do. Others will chime in im sure..

Just had a look at his thread on the split window combi ute, that Thai fella is a dead set artist in every sense of the word!
It seems like a talent you either have or you don't have at all!
If you didn't see the work in progress pics, you just wouldn't believe it...

BA XR8 scoop works with a 2" spacer or a cut reinforcing frame to suit and cut down extreme K&N air cleaner...or man up and use a reverse cowl scoop.

just because xg is basicly a revised xf. doesn't mean everythings going to fit
but most things will. still find it strange how ea fits and xg dont. but considering same engine and combinations. learn something new everyday.

I think the plugs are the same for the switches. Just fit the smartlock bypass/j3 and plug in the xf ign switch. Done!

XG lock assembly is a one off. E-series and XH had a a narrower column. The Tibbe barrels are all interchangeable, but you need to start with an XG assembly.

Hey guys, just some info for future reference, early EA T5 crossmember is a perfect fit in the XF, got mine today and it works a charm!

Thanks for the help Gaz, really appreciated mate.

Nah they don't mate, even the XG one is a total bust, wrong shape, wrong width.
The wider one is XF auto, other one is XG manual

CT12's they are, only good for about 10-12 psi before the ceramic impellers shatter and go through the block, so I reckon they'll be ideal for the ute, the Soarer deserves a nice big single though, them JZ motors are built for big boost.

I remember a Zoom article ("Workhorse Wakeup") on their project car: an XG ute with over 200,000 km on it. They used a pair of second-hand RB20 turbos to make about 6 psi boost and through a 4-speed auto, it made over 200 kW at the wheels. Quite impressive for a budget beater.

Dunno bout pioneer bud, but I tell ya I'm pretty stoked!
The smartlock and the dodgy XG ignition was really worrying me, not anymore though...
And I got a neat TI Performance sticker for the back window, should look good when I get my OzFalcon stickers for it too.
I'm pretty happy with the way it's all starting to come together now.
Just gotta start getting all this wiring installed but I'm hoping that shouldn't be too difficult with the dash and everything being installed too.
I'll try get some good pics of the wiring as I go, someone might find it helpful in the future.

Hi Jason, just wanted to thank you for helping me out with my J3 chip and your excellent customer service, the chip arrived today and looks to be of fantastic quality.
Also cheers for the TI performance sticker.
I'll proudly display it on my ute!
I'll have some pics or video of the old girl when she's up and running.
I will definantly use your company again in the future.
    Cheers mate.
