Get a Metric 14mm single HEX impact socket to remove the head bolts and get "new" ones to replace em with as they are torque to yield and a throw away item after 1 use.

If the springs are already set up in the head I would just have a go yourself as Nos2 has said. Research and then have a crack. The hardest part and most complex and specialist tool requiring bit is done if the springs are installed. The rest can be accomplished with basic hand tools.

Give it a crack yourself mate, it's really not that hard. Have a look on fordmods for a cam swap doco. Set the vernier 0, your tuner will adjust that

hey guys
Had alot of free time about a year ago and was mucking around with clusters and stuff. i managed to work out how to get them going via a usb port then i had working gauges for my racing games.
After that i ended up building a whole cockpit from a EF was heaps of fun.
Unfortunate was to heavy to move and had to pull it all down.i think i might do another build one day
Anyway just thought i would share
First time i got the guages to work

nos2 reacted to Gaz in help diagnosing problems with my car
Why do you keep mentioning vac? Stop mucking around with the carby and set the timing according to the procedure in the book. If you don't get your base timing correct, the computer won't know how to compensate and no matter how many times you check the timing it will never be correct.
