Stevemack got a reaction from nos2 in E85 or LPG or normal 91
E85 will require a fair bit of stuffing around. E85 eats normal o'rings etc so you would have to replace everything rubber in the system with E85 compatible stuff.  Unless it's LPG only forget it. Stick with old 91 unless you have some mods in mind.

best repair is to cut and remove affected area ,but this will take heaps of time,.welding the rust holes shut is hopeless as the rust will be back quicker then a dose of herpes, get a dremel or die grinder in there and dig it all out ,then cut shape an make small plates the stitch them in there ,then once done etch primer then a couple of hefty coats of tar based sealer thet sets rock hard to keep the water out, on the inner side of both panels give it a massive spray with xtrol then s rubberised black tar or mastic the seal is from further damage by water ,then last but least slap a shit load of fish oil everywhere

What noobus said.  You may have to pull some timing out of it or perhaps lock it at 26 - as much as I hate locked timing.  also try the better fuel.

You have not indicated what head and how much it has been shaved and also deck height.  With flat top pistons and a shaved C2 head it is really easy to get comp into a x flow - which it sounds like you have if you are experience dieseling.

Way too much comp for 95 ron fuel, its preigniting and running so hot that its running without ignition once shut off. You will need to run 98 with an octane booster and possibly even drop the timing right out of it. Are you positive the timing marks on the balancer are correct?

Use correct trans cooler line . DO NOT USE FUEL LINE .  It will go spongy and fain in no time .

I like the PWR 280 x 250 x 19 and have proven they work well on a few different transmissions fitted with temp gauges
Derale is another that I have used works good

    Agreed +1.

I always fit a trans cooler to any automatic I buy, even a shitbox 4 cyl.  Have got one on my FMX, just a 300mm square one from Auto parts shop.
Think it was $99 bux. Stuck it in front of rad, no probs. Heat kills trannies, (and batteries), so any one is a good one.

When you removed the LPG setup, did you disconnect the battery?

If so, the computer needs to re-learn.

There is a startup sequence you need to follow on first-start after reconnecting the battery, which will set all it's baselines.

Some AU's respond to this, others don't. My AU2 I know this HAD to be done or it would just stall. My AU1 didn't seem to care if you did it or not.

Ok so the painting has finally started, well started with the wheels on the weekend, also have been cleaning the interior of body deadener etc ready for some colour. I have chosen to go with the Peter Jackson colours. So it starts.

    Common 351 combinations
351 with 5.77" rods piston 1.678 pin height (stock)

351 with 6"(302 length rods) rods with 1.456 pin height piston. I am building a 14:1 engine for speedway with this combo using chev rods.

351 with chev 6.125" rod 1.331 pin height. This piston is also used in 393 strokers with 6" piston.

351 with chev 6.2" piston with 1.256 pin height. Ls1 have these pistons. Make a good screamer 8000 rpm engine these.

Can get all these pistons in dish flat or dome. Speedshops , rocket, performace wholesale, vpw can get them, summit racing or jegs in america are good too

I think EL fans aren't wired together from the factory. One is for rad cooling, the other is activated when the A/C is turned on.

    I think ??

Don't need any fans when youre moving.

Handbrakes squeak like buggery when they are a little tight, too tight and you would get the groaning noise, have you check to see if the wheels turn on the jack by hand?
If the handbrake is OK then i'd check the calipers, especially that one with the missing dust boot.
