im planing to boost a clevo will be saarting in a few months but id like to know a good size turbo or turbos for it
 
its a 302 ATM but may go to a 351 later if you can keep that im mind
 
theres a few turbo clevo guys in here any input would be good

with the price of fuel id never have close chamber heads funny my ute has them and monsta comp and its not a happy camper at all on any form of pump gas
 
open chambers are the go on any basic street engine
 
open chamber heded clevo in action bout time i thru this up on this forum stock 351 bottom end unported cast heads, i dont think this engine was even ballanced LOL and it cracked on the road it would burn the tyres doing 100kmg and all you had to do was push the go pedal
 
ran 12.0 on the day well a few times and with no sorting and about 6km on the clock
 
 

im a fan of the 14892 it a little cracker of a cam and ive made some good numbers with it little randys car runs 14.7 with that cam 465 no head work but big springs mid high 9s in comp and no stall convertor

good read mate a fair whack of work in that

thats how it is now and ill max that out with a new motor. i have to have a new line installed to comply it so ill go 2 lines as the tank and convertors will be setup for a line each
 
most of my car is built with a lot of room to go bigger i may not need it but the system can suport 500+ hp as can the gearbox thats in it

thats also rubbish have you got a good 250? not trying to be a arse but thats just worng
 
daves XF had a 3inch system on a next to stock engine and it still went good not loss of TQs even in the lower revs
 
the bigger the engine the bigger the system you want a spot on size for a stock engine is 2 1/2 inch that a stock engine nothign done at all
 
look at it like this the new crapodores run twin 2 1/2 inch systems on there stock v6s why do you think that is?

your kidding right? im driving my mates ute around at the moment i reved that to 5500 5 times today its a stock bottomend with a cam and carby LOL 4250 id rev a 500.000km stocker that hard hoping to kill it but i bet it would not die

my engine 3 years ago i went from 12.6 to 11.3 it seemed the same to drive and made the same numbers on the dyno and you could run more timing with no issues

no good but all is not lost send me those pipes (if there in good nick) and ill send you a set of falcon extractors
 
good deal i think i love cortys and always need spares and you want falcon pipes and i cant use mine in a corty so happy faces all round

cast head crossy for skids they seem to last a few seconds longer
 
theres a guy in my freinds list in stalk book chris naughts ask him he has a 10second TE cortina or maybe just ask me i build mine LOL but its a windsor and its running althow just a drag car a seat and a steering wheel

i read somwhere this thing was in the 12s somwhere but has 400rwhp? 400rwhp should go 10s even in a big falcon  
 
you building a a stroker for you missus to drive to the shops nice mate 

my xe does about 280 off boost of you push it a bit it goes to 4km a tank LOL

should have never sold that a v8 in a 1000kg car cranks a basic engine would have gone 10s in that
