Top control arm bushes.... The sweet sound of a clasic Ford. Some silicone spray will shut it up for a while but you really need to get some moly grease in there by stripping it down.

Thanx for the replays guys, I spoke to Steve from Steves wheels in sunshine (round the corner from me) he said he'll do the 4 wheels & centre caps for $400 + $80 to remove & replace my tyres & balance them so I'm looking forward to getting them done in the next couple of weeks.

These will look really nice all refurbished & polished up I reckon

You could score em with sand paper then prime & paint them.

no need to remove glove box even, its on the left side of the glovebox behind it.
if the motor runs, start the car up and click the air vents to recirc and if it works should allow it to drop out if thats where it went

Its nice & sunny here in melb today & just finished putting on brand new leads, oil/oil filter on my Zl.

The one on the left is to coil + the one on the right looks like it plugs into the throttle position solenoid.

Not sure about that but I would think that for example a june 85 build xf ghia would have 6/85 stamped on the wheels. But mine are a mix of xf ghia ea s pac which have different months/years stamped on them which I got from the wreckers.

I was getting really frustrated with it on Sunday then the druggie fron next door comes out & goes "should of bought a holden" I told him to shut the f up b4 I jump over this fence and stab u in the head with my screwdriver & he quickly went back inside ha ha. I wasn't gonna stab him though but it was funny.

I did mine in the Zl recently vacuumed it wasn't bad as I did it probably a year ago then sprayed fish oil every ehere.

U just need a big block now mate

Have u tried putting upward pressure on the bolt with the socket and and ratchet to prevent the clip from spinning? also try to get the bolt on a certain angle with your socket to kind of lock in the broken clip while u undo the bolt or a thin chisel & hammer and break the bolt head off.

I cleaned up all the Bulbs & checked & tightened up the earth wires & its all good now not blinking too quickly so thanks again VDO.
