Will that be on the passenger side at the rear?

Hi guys i have a question about the cork gaskets that go on the front & back of the block, ive seen the clevo kings vid on yt & he doesn't use them do you guys use them or is it better to discard them & use the rtv on the front & back. Im not sure what to do. I will be getting an edelbrock manifold soon & fitting it, just trying to do my research now instead of later.
-
Thanks for the reply's guys, now im thinking of just using rtv bead for the front & back i dont want the thing to leak.
-
Ill be using the gaskets
-
Thanks mate, its just a stock 302 nothing special just gonna change the stock manifold to edelbrock performer manifold now that i have the 600 holley on so i guess i will use the corks then as i dont plan on switching & swapping manifolds regularly.
-
Thanks Greg & FORD_MAN (don't know ur name) will find out once i buy the manifold i suppose
-
Morning guys, im planning to buy a 600 holley in the nxt few days i already bought a brand new adaptor plate for the 302c in my FD now im assuming that i go for the carb that has electric choke or auto choke?, i will be buying it brand new from hume performance or similar off ebay.
-
They are 3/8" bolts just open & checked them. So you guys think they will work with the 2750 performer? Wait a min this is a mixed bolt pk, it has 4x 5/16 bolts too so im guessing those 4 bolts go to the middle of the manifold as you have said FORD_MAN. Hopefully the 3/8 bolts work on a 2750 performer
-
Yeah thanks FORD_MAN , i have seen those manifolds with the 2 bolts & wondered why it has 2 extra bolts.
-
Cheers Greg, i already bought the studs & 1/2" phenolic spacer for the Carb. These bolts are for the manifold but description says for air gap manifold so im just hoping that they suit the manifold when i buy it. Ive seen in some manifold bolt descriptions on ebay saying "to suit air gap only" so thats where im not sure if i have the correct bolts or not.
-
I bought these bolts for an edelbrock performer for my Cleveland (havent bought the manifold yet), can you guys confirm that they will work on a non air gap performer please? Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapatalk
