Best Disks and pads for an XE?

Keep searching for the slotted and dimpled rotors for the fronts as they are great, haven't had a problem with them on any of my cars so far and for the rears just go with some nice solid rotors as it usually isn't worth the extra expense to bother with fancy discs on the rear. As for pads I haven't heard anything bad about the ebc greenstuff pads personally so might be worth a look, that entire setup is what I'm planning on getting for my eb when funds allow it. Keep checking the online stores for discounts to save a heap of money too as Sparesbox and others usually have sales on brakes every other couple of weeks.

HiSPArKy_Dave,Well I've got some sort of good News.I pulled out the plugs and plugged them back into their boots to rest on the rocker box.pulled out some injector plugs and fitted some wires into - & +.I had the ignition already on and when I connected the Test light wires I heard some solenoids clicking from the rear of the inlet manifold but loud clicks then it stopped.Ok Open the gland fitting on the fuel rail inlet,Crank her over,Every Plug Sparking and the Test light showed Red Flashing pulses on every injector and with Fuel comeing out like a small fire hose! So does that mean the injectore are Gummed up? Like as I said the last time it started and was going it ran ok and then it started smokeing real bad until I turned it off.The fuel level was low and could have been 2 years old. My mechanic mate said unleaded fuel can go off and bad.Anyway where do I go from here? Thanks Everybody,Feels Great to be Moveing ahead.

New Motor for Rods Mad Maxy Ute

the issue with it mounted this way is the primaries don't feed the ports evenly.

Best Disks and pads for an XE?

DBA slotted T2s are probably the best rotor for the street. I wouldn't recommend Bendix ultimate for the street, they need to be warm and used hard to be effective. Normal Bendix pads should be fine, of Heavy Duty if you don't mind some dust.

Cross drilled should be considered race only. You'd be lucky to get a season out of a set. Street discs will be slotted and/or dimpled. I'm surprised that DBA would still sell the cross-drilled ones, unless they stipulate racing purposes only. Sent from my CPH1607 using Tapatalk
