How are you going to set the front of the engine up and are you running a carb or efi?

Same bellhousing pattern same engine mounts same physical size, just make sure your harmonic balancer and flywheel/ flexplate match the engine as roller windsors use a 56ounce balance and early use a 46 ounce balance

50oz for roller and 28oz for the old school.

also there is a roller bearing for the idler arm if you got manual steer....

What's the difference between the boxes? Is one better for manual then power?

As long as the engine you get doesn't have gt40p (au style and El/eb gt) heads they will fit

Can't say for certain bud but It would be a good chance Id suggest.

Heads will be fine even on a modded engine. If you want to get serious move to a Edelbrock alloy set but till then there just fine.
 
Great on fuel sound like a V8 and go like a stock Harley...shit. LOL 

But the stock heads will be fine if the motor is standard?

If you're not squeezing mega horsepower out of it, or pumping boost in, they're fine. Make sure you get some decent heads on it. The stock ports and valves suck arse.

Plus my favorite...you get to run man sized lift and gain torque and HP.

Id always go roller, too many benefits not to do it.
 
less hp to turn, roller cam dont wear out as quick. Use same lifters on multiple cams. and many many more

Thanks for that see where you are coming from.

Neither will supply massive a hp gain but the Paxton was highest.A NAT ASP engine can make more power with the same money as said above.That engine made 460ish @ the crank then 570 with a blower.Shows them blowers are compromise @ best. If I see a car with a blower it is making a statement and in this case 1 it can't back up.With a gilmer drive on the paxton it could do OK though. 
 
It's big money for some extra torque that won't be used as it's only a street car as you say but again it's your car so do do as you wish.

I'm just doing the final touches on the body work, then I'll be starting on the motor with a compression test and going from there. I'll be putting a build thread up soon so I'll keep ya updated.

To be honest I couldn't tell you but the windsor's do leave a lot more room in the engine compared to the Cleveland's. To be on the safe side I'm going to leave the bonnet in hi-fill primer to I work out what I'm going to do. I'm not looking for massive power but bolt it on is easy power.
