If the dizzy isn't getting power, then the ECU won't fire the injectors.
I'd be checking some powers and grounds in the engine bay personally.
You may have accidently blown a main fuse? 🤔

i've seen quite a few instances of the ignition switch failing in these 25yr old cars, any chance it's just failed now?
@SPArKy_Dave @Thomare good with the wiring of these, might have a fusible link issue for eg,

Hey guys. I've done the engine n gearbox swap from eb back to ea using 1988 EA engine harness, I've changed it from auto to manual. Using factory manual harness,
I don't have spark or a signal from ignition to starter.
Fuel pump is working, it's a 4.0 into a 88 ea, it should plug in an run
I've fitted new dizzy n coil. New leads
Now being a mechanic, I'm over looking something.
This car DOES NOT HAVE SMART LOCK.

revhead reacted to Thom in Will an AU sedan exhaust fit an AU wagon?
Fro. The engine to the center muffler is interchangeable between sedan and wagon but wagons are a longer wheelbase and use a different tail pipe

au 6 cylinder does have the same input shaft length as e series (and xf) 6 cylinder 4.0, I used an au bellhousing when I put the au based 4.0 in my xh but I kept the original xh t5, but the au extension housing is longer and the shifter is 30mm further rearward than earlier t5's. -

@revhead had a loom modified by CRS running the auto, i'm sure the savings in alcohol were worth the cost of it, let alone the time in sorting it?
some more info in this thread where he fitted the AU 5litre into a transit. must be about due for an update

revhead reacted to MNTL.XD in Engine paint.
I have painted both my previous block and the block i have now in 2 pack without any problems except the paint darkened on the heads where the extractors bolted on, it has held well without any cracking or peeling etc. Once it was clean i gave the block a clean up with a wire brush on the grinder, prep washed it, primed it with a pressure pack of high temp, rough go over with scotch-brite, then top-coated it 2 pack body-colour and hit it with clear about 20 mins later.

He's lucky, if I had turned up with a Kombi to my now father in laws house to pick up my then girlfriend, helping me repair it would have been the last thing he would have done

revhead got a reaction from gerg in XG CLEVELAND ?
done a 100 of these conversion, weld plate to gearbox xmember, problem solved, use x series v8 engine mount plates to stock clevo mounts, elongate holes in front xmember 25 mil forward and do the same to the back of the holes on engine mount plates, this will let the left head clear the heater pipes get rid of xg radiator n fit xd xe v8 style radiator also get rid of xg radiator bolt ,

revhead reacted to SPArKy_Dave in HID H3c globes
HID's should only ever be used behind Projector lenses.
That way, the beam cutoff is sharp, avoiding light scatter.

they should ban hids as they blind other drivers ,there imo not a good thing
