  1. Second last time on a trailer for a very long time hopefully...
  2. You know, that’s exactly why so many of us older guys ran air shocks back in the day... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I had a mk2 Ghia that someone had dumped an 1100 into, I towed a box trailer a few times with it. Wasn’t fast. Ever. But it did it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. My Au is running 3.45 diff and btr which are renowned for being slugs off the line due to the tall 1st gear and soft converter, plus I’m guessing a lot more weight and I think my 60ft was either 2.4 or 2.5 on my 15.3. What’s making your so bad off the line? Is it gearing, cam or tuning? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Yeah I’ve been on forklifts full time for the last 8 years, people don’t realise how brutal they can be on your body. My Chiro says I have lower back upper back and neck issues probably all stemming from forklifts, plus my actual injury haha. My work has actually just been bought out by a large company and the new manager has already said my forklift days are done, at least full time. He wants me to actually do the role I’m supposed to have been doing all along which is great news for me. Much easier on the body. I’m certainly not rushing back to work though between sick leave and annual leave I have over 100 days accumulated so I’m all good there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. That 60ft is terrible. For every 1/10 you can save there will save 2/10ths (roughly) of your et. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. My willpower had been slowly slipping the last month or two. Still struggling to get over this back injury bit slowly getting there. Weight got back up to 103kg, but I’ve pulled that back to 98 now, bit of a rush to lose weight before my hernia surgery haha. Week and a half to go before they gut me like a fish. Looking at up to a month off work, docs are saying two weeks minimum, and super light duties when I go back. Xmas time I might as well just take the break and heal up good. Forklifts bouncing around and heavy lifting aren’t great for a hole in the gut. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Must have been idling off the line haha, my old one ran 13.6 dead stock. My au runs almost the same mph as a mates au xr8, his et was 13.9 mine 15.3. If you can't get them off the line hard it kills the et, but the power still, gets the mph up there.
  9. If that was in Brisbane i reckon I'd have some explaining to do with the missus haha. Awesome colour, and just aching for Barra driveline. sell the nine inch and get half your money back straight away.
  10. Meh, those letters aren't worth the paper they're printed on. too many errors, too many different ways the search can be done which changes the numbers etc. only serve to to make people think their povo pack family car is the next gtho
  11. Oh ffs... The lads at bad obsession have decided we need more detail... So they're doing episodes called 'Howie did it' and today's (or whenever it came out) is focused on how they manufactured the flex drive to work the ancillaries. not sure they taking the piss or not haha
  12. As someone who’s owned a lot of escorts over the years I’ll just say you’re gonna drive yourself nuts chasing every little vibration or rattle. I learnt early on to ignore them unless they get worse. You fix one and it just means you can hear or feel another one. It’s looking mint now, those wheels are perfect imo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. No paint yet, most probably won't see paint until the new year now. Bonnets getting a fg hump grafted on.
  14. I do like new bits.... Made for a nervous drive home like this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Heard nothing but good about his work. If you were in Brisbane I’d recommend the guy who did mine, although he doesn’t do looms, he wires them up once they’re in the car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
