  1. I was just gonna drain it so it didn’t piss everywhere when I pull the drive shaft out. Might be easier to drain it that way haha I don’t care About the box, it will probably end up as scrap Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks I suspected that was the way. It's gonna be messy I think.
  3. How do I drain the oil in my auto? I couldn't see any drain plugs when I was under there. Is it just a case of undoing the pan and letting it come out? Or can I undo one of the coolant lines and drain it that way?
  4. this is the colour I’m aiming for. Ppg purple reign I think it’s called. I had a pic of the paint code on my old phone but lost it when the phone had a brain fart. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Nah it will look ass haha. Especially if i change the exterior colour to the one I’m thinking. Plus the engine will stop it looking factory anyway so I might as well make it look as decent as I can Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Bay will certainly get some love. Wiring will be reduced to its bare essentials, hidden where possible. I'm going to paint it satin black, mine cause I'm planning a colour change after the rust work is done, so no point painting the bay yellow. so I'm hoping for just clean simple bay, that hopefully won't chew up the next three months worth of weekends. Im trying to get the engine done in time for afd in July.
  7. Haha that’s why I haven’t bought myself a mig. Would never be done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Damn that bay is a mess... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I've been doing just that. We've got about 30 houses being built over the road from us, and I was gonna see if the one f the sparkles wanted a cashie to install some more lights in the garage. It only has one twin fluro that is pretty hopeless. Hence the rangi'd up contraption haha.
  10. Yeah, mine are 150w ones as well, 10w must have been the led ones I was lookin at. Dosnt really get cold enough up here to worry too much about a heater, but il enjoy it anyway. Hopefully it will be finished by summer, and I won't need them by then.
  11. Yep, it’s two old pallet boards screwed together end on end, then a smaller one across that to make the cross. Then 4x $10 Bunnings halogens. Removed the lights from their stands/handles and screwed them to the wood. The heat will be handy when the engine is getting bogged up and painted I guess. Used the old zip tie plug lead seperators to hold them together but not together. Didn’t like the idea of so many power cables bundled together. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Makes a friggn good heater too haha. I should have paid the extra for led lights, they're only 10w halogens but the heat is unreal.
  13. Motors all ready to come out, so first thing tomorrow it should be out of the hole... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Yep, moss st, obviously before autobahn became Napa.
  15. Il have maybe two unwanted crossflows to get rid of haha...definitely one anyway. Mine wouldnt cost you anything like $100 either. (I thought that's what a decent runner was worth these days haha)
