XES reacted to Clevo120Y in BUBBLES! In fuel filter.
Yeah might be a tear in the diaphragm, also check the fuel lines for any cracks etc etc as they can suck air, I have had this problem before.

Universal fasteners in Adelaide sell them. You can get alloy or stainless steel. I used M8 stainless ones cause they werent that expensive either. They called speed clips or fast action clips.

XES got a reaction from revhead in Rear sedan doors wont open from outside handle but will easily from the inside/
Sounds like the handle is about stuffed. Pull the door skin off and have a look on the inside. Sounds like the linkage from the outer handle isn't pulling the latch up enough. I had this happen on mine and manged to get it sorted again but then a week later the ended up breaking. You might be able to adjust it out of it.

XES reacted to Thom in Cleveland oil supply mod
Ok here are a couple of photos of the oil supply mod you can do to any clevo ( except the new arrow blocks and blocks with a oil restrictor kit as they won't see any improvement ) to remedy the terrible factory oiling that supply the cam and top end first an leaves the crank to starve at higher rpm.
It's pretty simple all you do is remove the oil gallery plug next to the fuel pump boss and run a line ( can be hard ot flexible, i personally prefer hard line) to the oil pressure sender at the rear of the engine with a t piece so you can still run and oil pressure switch, what this does is prioritize oil supply to the crank first so you done end up with rocker covers full of oil and a starved bottom end.

XES got a reaction from Crazy2287 in Braided brake lines info
I made these at work Crazy. They work out to about about 80 bucks give or take a few dollars per hose. New rubber ones are about 40 bucks each.
These are the ones that I made for the rear of my xe
I have a web site through mu supplier of the brake parts that I can look up any pretty much any hose off any car and it tells the me the parts to use and from that I can work out the price. With and E series diff in an X series I think its just a matter of changing the fitting that goes from the diff onto the body from 10 X 1 on Eseries to 3/8 X 24 on X series and make the rest of the E series hoses. Easy done. I've still got to make the front ones for my car yet but they come out at round the same price. If you want me to price them up properly for you I can do that.
