Fingers reacted to slydog in Blown Crossy.
No it isn't. Its a general gauge of 6 pipes together. Each cyl can run 4points difference. Think about that.
Heat signature on the earth strap, colour and condition on top of the body before the threads.Colouring on the porcelin. But reading em has to be done with new plugs and directly after a WOT pull with no idle time.

AA series is one headlight above the other, AB is on an angle

Fingers reacted to Crazy2287 in Electrifying a Gasoline engine (converting an ICE to plugin hybrid)
It is more efficient to charge an electric car with a diesel generator than to put that diesel in the most efficient diesel vehicle and drive the same distance.
There is no valid argument against electric cars from an efficency or environmental standpoint. Even if 100% of the energy that powers them comes from coal.

all this talk of roller cams makes me want to grab the low km AU 5.0L with gt40 heads at the wreckers.

A 120Y will do something similar, however the handling and braking are not in the same league.

Fingers got a reaction from james34cameron in LPG horsepower gaining mods
I am not sure on this, so others in the know may shoot me down.
That said, I have a little LPG knowledge.
I have experience with gas, but not in a forced induction situation. ( Impco systems mostly)
My thoughts would be to convert from the complex converter/simple mixer system fitted factory, and change to a simple converter/complex mixer system.
A B2 converter and Gasresearch mixer is a known quantity with blow through LPG systems.
It can be made work very well.
Other people have had great results with Impco mixer and converter systems with forced induction.
I have not done either, but I know a lot of people have with great results.

Zetec is the same bellhousing bolt pattern as the Kent.
2.0 blacktop with a C3, cheap as
That said, if performance isn't an issue, 1600 Kent with the C3, no hassles

Using Gerg's rule of thumb, maybe Emily is going to build a 325 hp crossflow?

Older style pump with larger pulley seems to be win - win situation

Fingers got a reaction from thaenormountainstorm in Power steering belt replacement
I think it would be more likely to be the alternator belt, rather than the steer belt.
The steer belt is under very little load unless you are turning, whereas the alternator starts charging at a high level immediately on start to recover the charge lost while cranking, then reduces charge rate.
That said, it would pay to check all belts.
What is the car, what engine?

OK take this with alot of thought if your not comfortable but you could just fit the bare rims to the rear and jack up the car at both ends and clean the rims with the engine going, car in gear and wheels spinning. Done it before myself
