A trick I saw a mate do was to block the intake completely while cranking the car to build enough vaccuum to suck fuel into the carb.
 
You can either block off the intake snorkel on the air cleaner, or take off the air cleaner and use a plastic cup over the carb airhorn.
 
But you need a working fuel pump for the above to work.

Keyserts dude or recoil solid threaded inserts. I swear by these over a helicoil or similar any day now

I drilled it to 10mm as the resert steve sent me wouldnt tap right into that hole and I didnt have a 13mm drill bit for next size up.
The keyert needed a 10.8mm drill bit so I figured with the cordless same as what you said it would be slightly larger than 10mm. The 12x1.25 tap made a beautiful thread (mental note buy a set of these shit hot taps and use motor oil more often to tap holes then the tapping lube).
Screwed in keysert and tapped the prongs in with a mallet (put mallet face on the prongs and then tapped with a hammer).
Wait 24hours for silicon to cure and we will see if this mofo leaks again.

I have the recoil kits at work, no UNC stuff though, I could get you a 8 x 1.25 threaded insert for nought, from memory the hole size needed is 9.5 or something like that, text me your address if you want one and i'll post one out, easy as piss to put in.  0488723901
IMO heli coils are shit and best not used, once youve used these youll think the same.   Got our kit from Begonia city tools.

Used my mechanics kit he lent me. Has the drill bits and taps and dies. Id really like to find a fix cause I dont want to stuff it more.

Stick one end of a rag in the hole when you take the pump off, and leave the other end hanging down low. Should syphon the water out while you down a coldie.

Its not leaking out relief hole. Am getting another pump. Sealant I used was rtv red. Shop said use rtv blue so I got that.

My deburer is a round polishing stone on a die grinder. I dont have a double flare so only usually single flare it or a couple of spot welds if its steel to stop clamp flying off. Double clamps work well too. Well sourced a triumph trans cooler and lines. Can chop hoses and use brass or steel compressor fittings and hose clamps possibly to join them. Will find out when I pick up over weekend

Nah got a replacement 4.1 ends up with forged pistons crow cam dual timing chain ported head and match ported holey inlet manifold amd larger valves with upgraded springs and rockers
