Raymond Daley 4 Posted July 20, 2015 Ok just just wanted to ask if anyone knows this cam maker.. on the back of the cam its stamped.. CM250*S and also has WRC.. any thoughts..
ando76 4,354 Posted July 20, 2015 Wade perhaps (wade racing cam - WRC). Nah - I've got nothing. You can send it to one of the many cam manufactures and they can run it up on their 'cam doctor' and tell you exactly what the specs are.

wagoon 2,429 Posted July 20, 2015 Well I had a nice witty reply all typed out then Pro comes a long and makes it all irrelevant. Oh well better that you have the correct info from someone that knows stuff than some comment from a halfwit that knows fuckall. 4 ando76, PRO250, steve mcqueen and 1 other reacted to this
Banno 479 Posted July 20, 2015 214/214 is CM251. Don't know what CM250 specs are but is a standard camshaft replacement

gerg 10,871 Posted July 20, 2015 For the same duration at 0.050", solid will have a longer ramp-up than a hydraulic, so the advertised will be much longer. The specs you measured don't make any sense. A split-pattern cam always has a longer/bigger exhaust.

Raymond Daley 4 Posted July 24, 2015 Oh and just to let everyone know that the cam numbers stamped on the back " CM250S " stands for " CM250 " is to suit a 250 xflow and the " S " stands for a unfinished cam so its just a blank cam that other cam makers buy like wade cams or sure cams or cam tech.. Raymond Daley 4 Posted July 24, 2015 sorry had a brain fart.. its 107.5 lobe sep..
gerg 10,871 Posted July 24, 2015 Yeah that sounds right it's in cam degrees, not crank. but the 280 duration at 0.050 sounds way too big. Most performance street cams having that much lift have around 280 advertised and around 215 at 0.050.
Raymond Daley 4 Posted July 24, 2015 it was made for a speedway car..
