deankxf 20,429 Posted October 14, 2013 I drilled mine out, didn't take long. think he means the marks in the middle, look spotwelded initially? the rivets are gone in the pic, if they were spot welded(i wouldnt have noticed in the past i'd have bashed them off still anyway)
XTREME KARTS XF 1,212 Posted October 14, 2013 i used an air chisel, fucked those rivets off quicksmart do the ball joint bolt to this plate or does the plate get removed and thrown away? i cant remember since the last time i did ball joint replacements (did them on my XF 2 years ago) its better to ask than assume
deankxf 20,429 Posted October 14, 2013 looks like part of the ball joint is left on.. mine havent separated like that before? i would agree with McFly and bash it off and bin it without seeing it in person
XTREME KARTS XF 1,212 Posted October 14, 2013 thought so, thought i better someone ask than assume
n00bus m@x1mus 465 Posted October 14, 2013 Yeah that looks like some kind of primitive setup there. Just split the lot apart till you back to just the arm and bolt it back in its place.
Gaz 1,085 Posted October 14, 2013 Looks like an original Kelsey lower arm with the balljoint spotted on. I thought they were only on XR/T and early XW with the straight caster rods (holes at 45 degrees) 1 XTREME KARTS XF reacted to this
