xeeclipse 37 Posted July 21, 2013 Why not a single 3/8 copper line branching into 5/16. I doubt you'll mak enough HP to overcome that setup?
adrianphu123 73 Posted July 21, 2013 maybe something like this? http://www.ausrotary.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=179300 http://www.apamfg.com.au/main_pages/valving_apa.html Theres more info on the service relief valve by combining a service and relief valve, it frees up one outlet for another service line. As for a part number or where to get one, i have no clue but your best bet would be to call APA

PRO250 1,506 Posted July 21, 2013 Why not a single 3/8 copper line branching into 5/16. I doubt you'll mak enough HP to overcome that setup? thats how it is now and ill max that out with a new motor. i have to have a new line installed to comply it so ill go 2 lines as the tank and convertors will be setup for a line each most of my car is built with a lot of room to go bigger i may not need it but the system can suport 500+ hp as can the gearbox thats in it 1 revhead reacted to this
Wes 214 Posted July 21, 2013 Get the proper tank. Don't run that duo shit
Wes 214 Posted July 21, 2013 Look at my old thread to see how I set it up.
Wes 214 Posted July 22, 2013 Sorry. When you said duo valve, for some reason I thought you meant a twin line Y piece. If you mean the combination relief and service line then yes, get one of those, another service line, A plain filler line and guage. Whilst your buying bits, get the guage converter to mate to your x series. 1 revhead reacted to this
blackxt 699 Posted July 22, 2013 yeah you need a 4 port tank with a separate relief valve apa. then were the relief valve is you put the filler there instead using a thread in filler , then you are left with one space left for a extra sevice line , but you fit in there a service/relief valve parts needed 4 port tank 4 bolt service / relief thread in filler valve the filler is found on most older tanks , the 4 port tank is found in most 80s to 90s cars and the service/relief valve is found in most modern cars I made a twin outlet tank in my old escort for 20bucks , you just need to no what your looking for . 1 revhead reacted to this
blackxt 699 Posted July 22, 2013 you can do it also on the newer tanks if you do away with the tank gauge and just run another service line there .
blackxt 699 Posted July 22, 2013 also another option is ppi tank mounted in the boot floor , way more expensive but you can order then with as many sevice lines as you need .
Wes 214 Posted July 22, 2013 PPI are not making tanks for a very long time. Good product, worst customer service on earth
PRO250 1,506 Posted July 23, 2013 this is how i planed to run it, thats right hey? i talked to a gas guy today about fitting 2 lines and 2 locks in the engine bay it was $300ish labor and about $30 a metre for some flexy 10mm gas line crap at 30ish bucks a metre and at 8 metres sounds pricy as and 3 hours to fit i must be paying for there hour lunch break to LOL that and they will not sign off my system somone recomend me somone who will around here
revhead 1,392 Posted July 23, 2013 we should lock this thread as a gas reference ,this is great info!
XES 859 Posted July 23, 2013 We've got the gas hose that they use a work Dave. Its the same as the filler hose. I'll check that the price is right that they give you. Which gas place did you go to?
BoostedXD 14 Posted July 23, 2013 Mate you will find if you mount them like this you won't be able to close the lid. What I did was remove the normal feed valve, flip the siphon tube 90deg and put it back in so it aims down. The way I have mine, the lid closes fine. I need mine signed off by a gas certified before the engineer will sign off, but I don't see an issue with that at all. this is how i planed to run it, thats right hey? i talked to a gas guy today about fitting 2 lines and 2 locks in the engine bay it was $300ish labor and about $30 a metre for some flexy 10mm gas line crap at 30ish bucks a metre and at 8 metres sounds pricy as and 3 hours to fit i must be paying for there hour lunch break to LOL that and they will not sign off my system somone recomend me somone who will around here
