These coil overs look like a nice mod, great for improving handling and adjustable ride height. RRS may seem expensive however the money you spend to setup stock modified suspension properly is not actually cheap either. I have done both, and you will always suffer from shithouse ball joint angles trying to run any decent camber. If you want serious handling you need to cough it up. Just the RRS struts were 3.8 seconds a lap quicker than the stock modified setup, and it handles and rides like my FG. The best thing for me was engineers will sign off on any RRS product with no testing. Plenty of aftermarket options these days out there, which is great for the box models.

Hey all, just wondering if anyone has done this? Looking to run a drop tank with twin exhausts on each side.

Can you hear like a suction type noise just above the sweet roar!  I guess that would be the noise from the restriction of the 3" single!

This is my set up for the streets!  3" Mandrel bent pipes from the headers right though to tail the pipe, twin into single Y piece, 1 big Lukey muffler before the diff. $700 bucks the lot installed!!

    The Redback muffler!

Sounds great at idle and good when ya keep the revs low but when I get up her it gives resonating buzz which is a little annoying, but no drone!   The sound changes when I go from my Shaker to air cleaners (which is crazy but true), unfortunately it has better sound without the Shaker on.  The first muffler was a red back straight though and it was horrible!(pic above) The Lukey improved it a fair bit but still has that slight resonating buzz, and it restricted a bit of power! I still I ran 388 rwhp on the dyno with this exhaust!

So that's my street set up but now I'm going to build a side pipe for racing so that will be interesting!  I'm going to kick a 3" pipe after the Y piece (so I don't need to invest in a crossover) out to the side of the car under the passenger back door with a straight through muffler of some type, and set it up both systems so I can bolt and unbolt them for what i'm using the car for.

With the redback muffler and not tuned up!

And with the with the Lukey muffler and tuned up but not dyno tuned!

Coyote engines are awesome, the 335 Miami is epic and would be unreal in an early Ford. The problem is with the new rules (VSB14) you would struggle getting a blown engine engineered. 4.68L is the biggest blown engine you can put in an XE. Without notching the towers you would have little chance getting a modular motor in, I doubt the brake booster would fit as well.

This would be sweet for 15k the Ford Racing Aluminator XS, 500Hp+ spins to 8000rpm.

i dont understand why the price of the car comes into it? the kits are all around the same price, so if you want to try something like that you have to be prepared to pay the money. my front brakes were worth about the same price that i paid for my car, but i feel the purchase price is irrelevant to the end goal of what i want to see my car finish like.

if i was going down this track dave i like the global west stuff. i think  a few people on here have had success with it, and when i was looking it looked like the best made kit you could get.

Chaise I am pretty sure its Australia wide, I spoke to 2 engineers about twin turbo in the ACT and they referred me to VSB14.
Formula is heaviest variant of model multiplied by 3 for blown or 5 for NA gives you the max cc.

So ESP was 1560 x 3 = 4680cc for blown and 1560 x 5 = 7800cc for NA. Which is a bit stupid considering how much power you can make with a NA 7.8L big block.. lol
