most likely its the standard XE head, XD/XE heads don't have any ID between port 1&2, like the later heads, So open chamber 57ish CC

ok i took it for a drive around the block it seems to be ok,tuesday is booked in for a 3 inch single system,with a hooker aero chamber stainless muffler i had.

just about finished ,its a real challenge when you start with just a block and have to buy every nut and bolt and the correct brackets and air-con bits,but its almost ready for fittment just need a carby ,still deciding what to run ,more than likely just a 600 vac ,because i just cruise in this car ,its to good to thrash,it has air and steer.

I've got 2 of those centre consoles one in my factory manual s pak sedan and one in my factory manual povo pack wagon. Only difference is it has a the stick where the blank spot is. In the first pic the compartment in front of where the carpet is, it works out it is the perfect size for a 3 gauge pod.

This is a performace brand wheel if you look closer.So mine look to be dealer fitted. I happy with that.

Dealer fitted,my xe had brand new 14 x 6 gold performance wheels fitted ,aftermarket wheels were offerd to the public.

As for the wheels I had them one my car when I bought it. Its an XE Spak, the owner ordered them instead of the normal Spak wheels. I don't know how you would go about finding if those wheels were ordered though

Today with not much to do i got on you tube and watched many old daytona races ,and by 1987 the cleveland had set the record for the fastest mph ever at 210 plus with billy elliott behind the wheel of the thunderbird,(good ol aussie pillow-blocks)plus reading old u.s. grand national racers tips on building a cleveland,this is where the 4v heads really came into their design to run at big rpm .
