Best way to protect this??

When I was up at the V8s in Tassie the other week I grabbed the glovebox out of the ute and took it to have Winterbottom, Davison, Reynolds and Davison sign it

 

 

 

Now whats the best way to protect it to avoid chances of the signatures fading over time?

 

So far I've had hairspray suggested, anything else that anyone knows of? Has to be something that won't damage the signatures (obviously).

not really because ya cant wipe it with wax and grease remover 

maybe put a few thin coats of clear over it and hope it sticks

Im gonna say the obvious and don't display it. Grab another from a wrecker and use it. Use this special one on display days or club runs etc.

I doubt clear would stick to it properly... I've never cleaned the glovebox, so god knows whats on the surface...

 

Only problem with keeping it out of the ute is that its probably more likely to be broken in the house than it is in the car...

Whatever you do get a spare one and write on it and use it as a test one before touching the real one. You probably already thought of that though.

Actually I didn't think of that first... o.O my old glove box is somewhere...
