deankxf 20,315 Posted June 6, 2016 What type of paint did they use in factory? McHue paints in Lara(used to be in corio) had a bumper grey code matched to side moulds back when i did My XF.. (i think i was EA though and may be lighter..did match the XF) but i recently got an XG and noticed the side moulds are a different shade (darker). i had a pressure pack made up from an eye match of a side mould in Bayswater(east Melbourne) recently, but havent got to spraying it yet. due tp being pressure pack, its probably an acrylic. he said it would fade(like originals) unless i clear coated it with a satin clear.. i probably wont bother clearing it. 1 Bullaman reacted to this Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Bumperette colour is either Thunder Grey L6 (EF era) or Thunder Grey 0036 (EA-ED era), Storm Grey 0015 EA-ED era), or remote possibility of AeroMax Grey 0001.
