redirecting heater hoses in xf

Hey guys wants to put 351 clevo and c10 box in my 85 xf wagon jjust want to see if anyone has redirected hoses properly without bashing or cutting pipes etciif u have done it I'd love to c some pic's cheers magik

does your car have aircon? are you going to use it? if not use the aircon core instead as a heater core

I tried this, only problem was air was always hot, never cold, regardless of temp position.

Went back to proper outlets, and cold air worked again.

Yeah, had a brand new tap. Same one it has now.

 

Maybe I have a dodgy A/C core or something? Or the tap was in the wrong hose?

 

If you want to connect heater hoses to A/C core you need to reduce the hose size down for one of the hoses.

Ive done it but 25 years ago and no pics. Turn the heater core upside down, Drill new 30mm holes in the case & firewall, plug the old holes, done...

 

Just the core, not the whole box?

Where does that relocate the holes to?
