    Next time it does it have a spare coil on hand to swap out and see if that fixes it, if not do test to see if if distributor is putting a spark signal out and or getting spark when cranking Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I'd look at replacing the hall effect sensor inside the distributor. A failing sensor, commonly causes the issue you describe.
