    • You're always such a great help & appreciate immensely 💯💥😁🍻
    • I'd call that a good combo, plenty good enough for normal use with standard springs.
    • Hazard light switch is up there and the wires could possibly be in there.

could be as simple as the hazard switch itself.. (if you unplug it, blinkers don't work from memory)
try turning hazards on and off about 20 times, and next step would be to remove it spray the shit out of it with contact cleaner/WD40 etc and repeat on/off for plenty..
plug it back in, and test. that's the 5 minute fix i'd do first.

other things to look at, unrelated to the dash would be in the boot, tail light loom, or tow bar loom if it has one with a short on the 2 sides.

otherwise, unplug the blinker stalk and see if it's got a short between the two sides with a multi meter.. might not be that hard to do either.
that's about all i can think of currently
    • Heys Guy's  After a quick fix . Right hand indicator isn't switching off when stalk in neutral position, pretty sure also when I went to indicate left hazard light's started flashing.  Have I messed with some wiring or something, I did drill a couple of holes in the top of the dash just to the left of the instrument cluster but surely wiring lower down . Blue dots are roughly where I drilled a couple little holes to mount a tacho... Surely haven't drilled into wiring have i...   On some brighter news, serpentine kit from CVF racing has cleared customs & should be here any day
    • I got some nos kyb's for the front but I havent decided for the back, probably gonna go with monroe
    • It's something I'd have to save up for I can't imagine shock dyno'ing, being cheap   Which shocks did you end up buying?
    • Well if you wanna do that Id be happy to send my kybs in before I fit them. Im probably gonna do the shock and spring saddle another time as I dont have the spring saddles on hand and I want the old girl asap.
    • I read that KYB are valved firmer than stock, but I've never tried them   I've got NOS examples of most x-series front/rear shocks for comparison, incl a nos XE ESP Bilstein front   It'd be interesting, to do a Shock Dyno comparison of the valving, for all the available x-series aftermarket front/rear shocks?
    • new old stock shocks should be good quality shocks,  kyb will work much the same,
      monroe GT much the same
pedders black ones are much the same.

there's a noticeable difference in better shocks, but it's less important with standard springs. As soon as you fit stiffer lowered springs, you will pretty much need better shocks (big bore short stroke ones for the front are best)

    • I crawled under there today and found my problem with my lower control arm being munted. All my steering looked a-ok so I wont fuck with it. Ive got a bushing and balljoint set coming this week so when it gets here Ill start that thread and take photos and mesurements of every bolt and bush as I tear through it for future reference but it doesnt look like too bad of a job. Also in regards to shocks I saw in another thread about how the kyb shocks are smaller than factory so Ill be intrested to see how the ones I ordered compare as theyre new old stock.
