The car's in pieces at the moment, but I can dig out the turbo, for a close look I read once, the kits used Nissan Exa turbo's or similar? -
That's cool always like the AIT kits for the XE XF falcons. Do you know what size turbo you have? Normal the kit would of had some form of TO4 attached. I was thinking of seeing if Mike Vine turbo's still had t4 flanged manifold availible as they were well built and compact. The other option is a 6boost manifold, a bit pricey but very nice.

My XE wagon project, has an 80's Nissan branded turbo, on an AIT exhaust manifold, if that's helpful? 😅 -
I remember seeing in Street Machine a few years back a red XF that had a blow thru setup on the crossflow with a monster sized Pulsar turbo that made over 400rwkw's.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DAmnSIA9ZSE The Pulsars seem to be almost identical to a Garrett turbo according to this video.

the only memory i've seen of a pulsar turbo, is i'm fairly sure the 8 second 1/4 mile gemini was using one or their 9 second street gemini uses one at 40+ psi. (i have a feeling the 8 second gemini is running something different now, but not 100% sure)
there really isn't many active members here anymore, and most aren't into turbos/boost anyway. you'd probably have a better response asking on a facebook group and filtering out all the troll comments.

Not going to brand bash here just want honest opinions on Pulsar turbo's. Im looking at getting one for my XB and they are very cheap but seem to have good reviews, especially from xr6t guys. Are the worth looking at for something that will rarely see a track and do limited daily driving?

no, it won't have a spigot bearing on an auto to deal with, but you should do the welsh plug on the back of the engine while the gearbox is off. (i dont' know for sure if it's got one , but i assume so) cant help with the rear main seal, haven't done windsor ones.

Does anyone know if the 4 speed auto has a spigot shaft bearing in the back of the crank? And is it the same in the manual t5 as I am wanting to replace the rear seal and would do the bearing while there along with the auto exrension housing bush and seal. Also anyone got advice or techniques for replacing the engine rear seal while motors in the car.
