Does anybody remember the GLS falcon ,i saw a few back in the early 80's in XD and XE ,can someone shed some light on what the deal was with this option ?,i cant seem to find much about them,graffix unlimited still sell's the boot badge.

Pretty sure it's just late XF utes after the EA release. Called GLS instead of S Pack.

As Slo said, I remember the badge well on Xf Utes but I've never seen it on anything else.

i remember as a young teenager keen on ford models at the time the GLS badge was on many xd's but i havent seen one for ages,just thought i would bring it up.

It's possible it was on early xd's before the intro of the alloy head or the s pack ? or like one of those N.S.W. things only,like emissions.

yeah I'm interested to know as well...because the GLS utes didnt have the tacho dash like S packs did. but had similar style package though.

Just did a bit of research and a GLS ute is a series 2 xf with a 5 speed and LSD,so it could have been an option in earlyer models with a manual trans and diff package.
