TUFE 284 Posted November 19, 2014 Im after someone to install a new headlining in my xe. I have all the rods etc but no liner. Ive been quoted up to $500 to supply and install, is that competitive? XFChris 126 Posted November 20, 2014 500 sounds steep to me as well. What are XE headliners like? A roof card with foam, then the fabric on it? If that is the case, you could grab a 2nd hand headliner, and reco that yourself if you are on a budget, and don't need a professional finish. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

steve mcqueen 1,796 Posted November 20, 2014 I got Goldie done a few weeks back, that was my dearest one as mentioned above. I have another grey velour roof lining in a car but in all honesty i think fitting a second hand one would be a pain in the back side? Its still in the car and looks pristine as the day it was done and that car will one day be toast. You see, you dont have the 'excess side material' to glue down a second hand one. Hey it might work but im not sure. I just thought pulling it out might damage it to. If you could get it done for around the $300 mark id say 'get it' They some times appear on evil bay to for the X series falcon brand new. Ill keep my eyes open.
