dizzy616 183 Posted August 19, 2014 Hey.I was wondering on a ef. Can you just replace the rubbers on the balljoints. And is that doable without taking the balljoints out. Because i hear they need to be pressed in. But the actual balljoint its self seems good.Thankyou.
Campo 869 Posted August 19, 2014 Balljoints are a press job. pretty sure you cant just do rubbers but I could be wrong.
SPArKy_Dave 8,885 Posted August 19, 2014 Yes absolutely, you can just do the rubber boots without pressing them out. Ford themselves, don't service replacement boots, as a spare part, but Roadsafe DO make replacement boots. - part number RB317K (I think) I bought two sets a few weeks back, from Bursons Lilydale, for the EF wagon project I'm doing. Bursons keep them in stock. 3 Outback Jack, dizzy616 and XTREME KARTS XF reacted to this
