NZXD 2,328 Posted June 9, 2014 Hey guys, im after some info. I have enquired with the NZ supplier of King Springs regarding the purchase of new super low leaf springs. The guy told me that the left side is different to the right to compensate the driver. Has anyone ever heard of this, what happens if theres a front passenger, wouldnt it be out of balance? Urgent help required. Cheers.
gregaust 319 Posted June 9, 2014 That would be correct
NZXD 2,328 Posted June 9, 2014 The right side is strengthened so the car sits level with a driver. My worry is that it might sit funny with no driver or a car full. Part numbers; Right side is FOR-503/140 Left side is FOR-503/160 Lowers rear 50mm from standard. 1 steve mcqueen reacted to this

NZXD 2,328 Posted June 15, 2014 I have then in, and got to say I'm happy as a dog with two dicks. I ended up with two the same, or both have the part number for-500/140. I then made an enquiry with King springs in Oz, they said it's all ok. 2 Outback Jack and Farkin351 reacted to this

That looks sweet, i don't know what it is about your car but i can't stop staring at it, like it's got boobs or something. nice ride height too. Are they Kings super-low, ultra-low or just lowered? NZXD 2,328 Posted June 25, 2014 Cheers dude, I can draw some boobs later on if that makes it better haha. They are super lows. I need to update the other thread, few other bits going on. 1 MNTL.XD reacted to this
bear351c 10,273 Posted June 25, 2014 Leave them on for month, before looking at changing them out. They will sag a little. (See how it rides with 3 chicks in the back and 70 litres of petrol.) Looks like your tyres will get cut by the guards.
MNTL.XD 3,831 Posted June 25, 2014 (See how it rides with 3 chicks with big boobs in the back and 70 litres of beer.) Looks like your tyres will get fried from all the horsepower. Fixed. 1 bear351c reacted to this
Outback Jack 6,352 Posted June 25, 2014 LOL, cheeky..... You Changed his wording.... Looks sweet with the lowered springs, and tidy ride man. Jack.
NZXD 2,328 Posted June 26, 2014 Cheers guys. There is a bit of room between sidewall and guard, so there shouldn't be any cut tyres.

NZXD 2,328 Posted August 26, 2014 Hey man, I had two new sets, one being replacement set and the others that I had when it had blocks. The factory size work ok and have sufficient thread etc. I have now put the two inch blocks in just for shits n giggles and it's loooooooow. 1 steve mcqueen reacted to this
