I have done this. when i fitted the T5 behind the x-flow i had in my xw wagon, i used a cross flow bell housing and the pivot and fork off a three speed bell housing and welded a pad onto the bell housing to suit the slave cylinder, are you a member of x-falcon as it should all still be on there. still have the bell housing if you need to see pictures

can I had this to the table, if you did use a diff from a xe-f ute etc that I think are the same width as xa-c?? you could run some au-on rims. I went the other way in my xa, put a xy diff in it which moved the wheels in one inch per side. as the spring mounts are on the same centre. but if I was you I would fit a xf centre like I did.

i had trouble bleeding the xa after fitting the new master cylinder, did every thing i knew but could not get the air out. borrowed a vacuum bleeder and bingo fixed it straight away. so brought a cheep one.
