351XD_Fairmont got a reaction from slydog in Crossflow alloy head casting numbers
Cheers for the replys guys, nah I checked for the markings before posting and the only thing I could find was hf4. I'm getting it machined soon hopefully so I'll get the shop to sort it for me. On a related note where do you guys source your valvetrain components from?

Check the coil packs mate, I know you said they're new but we had new ones put in and two weeks later it was playing up, found out that we had paid for a full set but only received two new coils and they were the ones that were stuffed again, after that we abused the mechanic and went to the wreckers and got a full set from a wreck, haven't had a problem since, that was nearly two years ago now

351XD_Fairmont got a reaction from Mr Polson in Tips using regular household products
I bought an eb a couple of years back with vaso slathered on the terminals and all the radiator hose ends, even the towbar, missus said it seemed abit suss on the towbar, I laughed me arse off when she said that.
We've always used the liquid non-caustic ovencleaner to clean up the engine bays, works a treat
