  1. Alright Chestnut. I will throw a few coins at the horse also. Might get a drink out of it. [emoji857] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. You Google powers are better than mine. I kept Google-ing with falcon as one of the search terms and got nothing. And being a man I could see it [emoji856] Thanks Dean. [emoji106] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. It is the actual colour. Everywhere I’ve poked around is the same colour, just less scratches. And the I.D. plate specifies the “CZ” which I can’t find a definition of. Was there ever Police utes that were a light blue (almost white) colour? Thanks again you Wizards! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. I had the same problem with my XF, chassis number not recognised, I couldn’t get any data from ppsr, even after paying [emoji25] Called vicroads who said their search was a national search, but nothing came up there. I explained I wanted to buy a vehicle, spend money, and be confident it wasn’t stolen. They asked for an engine number, which again, didn’t come up anywhere. They asked previous rego, but I don’t have those details. So, now if I show up, and with a rwc, I can register as if it’s never been registered before. Good luck. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Hi guys, Generally speaking, it is a light, light sky blue. (Like a mix of white and light blue). Nothing on it is marked as anniversary, but I’m new to xf falcons, so could be corrected on what to look for. Not the best photo, as it now looks whiter [emoji30] Thanks for your input. If I call ford could they tell me what the mix is? I need to “touch up” a few places. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Hey guys, Sorry for the delay to the thread. Anyone know what colour for a “CZ” is for an 86 Falcon XF? Any help would be great. All my searching has got me no closer. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. So Vicroads has no record of the motor in the car. Vicroads said they have no history of this vehicle at all. Further to that, if I was to show up with the car and RWC, they will simply add it to the register. So, I bought it. Can’t wait until Monday. Thanks for all your comments Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. I rang vicroads today. They said their national database doesn’t show any record of that chassis number. The asked if: 1. I knew the previous registration number/plate. - but the seller doesn’t know that, so I don’t 2. I knew the engine number, which they might be able to search on. The seller has since provided this to me (JG23FK57035C) but seller says it doesn’t come up on his searches. I will call vicroads with this number and speak with them in the morning. Really appreciate the help and guidance here guys. Thanks. Just want to buy this Ute with out any dramas later, and be okay to spend money on it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. But I can’t seem to have any register identify the vehicle. What number should I search? The seller doesn’t have any previous registration numbers/plates either. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks Dean. I paid the $2 for the PPSR , and the vehicle doesn’t come up. The chassis number is JG41GS91932C right? Is it common that the database doesn’t have vehicles from the 80s? The vehicle looks to be an 86 falcon xf Ute, S pack. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Hi Geniuses, I am trying to by a 1986 XF Ute. But can’t do a check on the vin, as the vicroads search says it does exist. The vehicle has no rego plates. How do I buy with confidence? The vin is JG41GS 91932 C Which bits do I add into the searches ? It says I need 17 characters? Someone easy my frustration and tell me my mistakes, please. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
