Stu5766 394 Posted June 14, 2015 Howdy all. I've been roped into finishing off an engine conversion for a mate of a mate. Problem is that we have fitted an fmx box he supplied, but he has the standard XD tailshaft. Does anyone know what uni joint can be used to couple the fmx slip yoke to XD shaft. The fmx slip yoke is fairly wide with external clips, while the XD shaft is narrower with internal clips. Cheers guys.

Stu5766 394 Posted June 14, 2015 Thanks for the reply. We tried that part number from repco & it was no go. The fmx yoke is heaps wider than the XD shaft. I'm think we will need a whole new shaft??

bear351c 10,273 Posted June 15, 2015 Can get a tailshaft joint to fit an FMX yoke on the old one, cost isn't cheap. (fitting, welding, balancing etc) Or you can measure the caps, the distances, inside or outside circlip, and browse a catalogue........ 1 XTREME KARTS XF reacted to this
