This is a handy tool to see how far out your speedo is to determine how many more teeth you may need on your gear. 1 gerg reacted to this
Mr Polson 10,214 Posted April 7, 2014 hi guys, if you change your rims to a larger diameter tyre, going from 14" to 15" do you need to go down teeth on the cogs? scored a nice set of 15 csa globe copies and definitely want to fit them on the XC since 14" tyres are getting pricey in WA and limited sizes As mentioned, depends on if you lower your tyre profile along with the different rims. On my Honda, it had 175/65/R14 stock rims. I upgraded to 15" alloys 195/50/R15, speedo is 3-5km/h out at 110 so I don't worry about it.

Mr Polson 10,214 Posted April 7, 2014 Most GPS also tell you your speed, that's what I use to check, only because my phone goes flat superquick if I enable its GPS systems.
