Installing after market auto shifter in an xf

Hi guys

 

Just wondering how people went about fitting after market shifters in xf's such as the b & m ones? i want to keep the centre console but at the same time dont want to have to chop it up, what have u done? got any pics?

Have to say no way around it...That said I didn't do a single cut on my console,I threw it out and put the shifter on a mount and it works awesome.

Although I'm sure someone has kept the console and fitted the shifter to it, I also just ditched the console and mounted it on the floor.

Oh yeah you certainly have to cut the console to make it fit,no way around it,but some people have done it before.I just can't find a link pics ATM sorry.

I like your set up XES, I don't mind doing something like that its nice clean factory looking fit. I've seen people take chunks out of the cup/change holder section infront of centre console to make shifters which i dont wanna do.
