Hot Xflow Tuner's Perth

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good crossy tuner in Perth? Maybe someone who's into speedway and knows a bit about the good ol' crossflow... Big cam, headwork, 650 DP etc, etc.

Thanks.

We're all on here mate... As crossy fans, we're dinosaurs and you'll struggle to find a shop that specialises in them. Any mob that can screw together a hot SB Chev or Clevo should apply the same rules to your weapon of choice and get good results.

I thought that was generally the case haha. Just thought that someone may have had experience in tuning them in speedway or something of the like that could suggest someone :).

Go get yourself an air/fuel ratio meter mate, I wouldn't tune without one anymore. Mark your balancer every 10 degrees if your still running the stock one so you can see the total timing and when it all comes in etc etc. Start conservative and creep up on it slowly. What ignition system are you running and also what gear are you using eg manifold, exhaust, cam specs, compression etc etc.

Not using a stock balancer so that's taken care of :). MSD programmable ignition with aussie speed manifold and 650DP ultra HP , 10.8:1 comp, large solid cam with 106 lobe sep, 244 duration and  .560 thou lift from memory. 2.5 inch straight through exhaust.

Wayne at performance carb tuning mate. Or SCM done my last one and were quite good. Only thing ive had trouble with is a decent tuner for the msd programmable. I use a wideband o2 and ltx-2 setup in my dash for a bit of clarity.

Pffft 600th lift...only a baby :)

93xf is that cam a Crow number? If so speak to Chris (Tyler) so he can tell ya how his went and I what to expect tuning wise.

Either way should be another strong xflow...goid luck with it.
