Fook me. 65 grand. Worth it but. -
^^^^^^^ he's right. Even my set up was costly. Material was 250. I did all the machine work. Cut the head plate om a ban saw from copy of gasket. Made throttle shafts etc. I cant alloy weld So trumpets had to be welded to plate by a shop. 6 butterflies bbought. Linkages.Hymy joints are fuckon expensive. Especially l/h thread. Took a lot of fine tuning. I spent probably 30-35 hrs. So at paying someone @ $80-$100/hr plis parts etc it adds up quick. If I had to pay someone for the lot.......I would still have a carby.lol With that said. I did want to go different from webbers/carby and this was a option. Old scool setup that works. So I was prepared.

Congratulations goes out to Ken for posting a 11.323 @ 116MPH at the winternationals at willowbank over the weekend. I believe this is the quickest pass for the car so far. Ken also went some rounds in eliminations but was eliminated in round three. Cheers Wazzy

I have heard and personally seen both of these problems. I had one car that could drive around town all day and be fine. Drive 110kays to tville and halfway back and just die. So out i drive(1/2hour) crank and fires instantly. Ended up being the fuel pump. Got a little to hot and the armature seized. After a litttle cool down it released and the pump ran. I know it sounds fu&^ed up but it worked for this customer. The hardest thing is trying to explain to them that we had to replace a part that was actually working.
