looking for some one to make a manifold

^^^^^^^ he's right. Even my set up was costly. Material was 250. I did all the machine work. Cut the head plate om a ban saw from copy of gasket. Made throttle shafts etc. I cant alloy weld So trumpets had to be welded to plate by a shop. 6 butterflies bbought. Linkages.Hymy joints are fuckon expensive. Especially l/h thread. Took a lot of fine tuning. I spent probably 30-35 hrs. So at paying someone @ $80-$100/hr plis parts etc it adds up quick. If I had to pay someone for the lot.......I would still have a carby.lol With that said. I did want to go different from webbers/carby and this was a option. Old scool setup that works. So I was prepared.

    crossflow porting results

Yep sounds great. You will be changing them every 3-5 meetings but. That's when it becomes very expensive.

Congratulations goes out to Ken for posting a 11.323 @ 116MPH at the winternationals at willowbank over the weekend. I believe this is the quickest pass for the car so far. Ken also went some rounds in eliminations but was eliminated in round three. Cheers Wazzy

still got problems with the xf

I have heard and personally seen both of these problems. I had one car that could drive around town all day and be fine. Drive 110kays to tville and halfway back and just die. So out i drive(1/2hour) crank and fires instantly. Ended up being the fuel pump. Got a little to hot and the armature seized. After a litttle cool down it released and the pump ran. I know it sounds fu&^ed up but it worked for this customer. The hardest thing is trying to explain to them that we had to replace a part that was actually working.

    250-300hp Crossflow

I ran the stock regraphed dizzy up to 6200RPM. I didn't notice anything until i stepped up the combo, then i changed to the crank trigger set up.This thread is about a 300HP crossflow. IMO you dont need this kind of set up for a 300HP engine. With a stock bottom end, 40 thou pistons, mild head and 246@50 cam and MSD 6AL it had 308HP(flywheel) @ 5800RPM ran 13.1@103MPH all day. Totally safe combo for the street. The bottom line is, work out want you want for the car. Street or Drag. There is no in between IMO. Cheers Wazzy

    250-300hp Crossflow

You can go up to around 11.5:1 Comp for 98RON pump fuel to be safe without detonation. A crank trigger takes away the electronics in your dizzzy. Basically like a Crank angle sensor in a new car. Everytime in goes past the magnet it triggers the pulse. The only thing left the distributor does is direct the spark to that cylinder. In saying that it depends on what revs you want. I didn't have any trouble with the stock Re Graphed dizzy untill about the 6300RPM mark.It helps at high RPM the dizzy getting "Scattered". I have seen this from Dyno graphs between a dizzzy and crank trigger. Cheers Wazzy

    250-300hp Crossflow

Hi boys. Grimmy your windage tray is almost complete. Just waiting on the Folder to be repaired. And i have a convertor of that exact same RPM(4600) for sale too if you like. MCfly Crank trigger is very easy to set up. As long as your handy with the tools. Cheers Wazzy
