Ok all in and re chex 70lbs on mains now lets have a look at the std oil pump then move to the roller lifters as they need to go in b4 heads are bolted down

If you have time start watching on YouTube the engine build and development by Kelly Racing for their new 302 mustang.
They start will an off the shelf Ford Motor Sport 4 boot block and then work there magic.
660-670 HP.

When my block was measured before being 0 decked it was like .005 at one end and .022 the other and the opposite on the other bank.
Factory machining wasn’t flash at all.

4 pistons in and all going to plan,motor turns nice and easy,more parts should start showing up next few days,this motor is a pearla,The CF cast on the block,is this a 302 cleveland ?🤣also near zero deck 005 maybe

I’ve priced up a few 6-71 kits over the years, you won’t get much change from about 8500, then it can be on the street.

procharger also does a kit,the shootout with fryburger was interesting weiand vs procharger similar results with weiand down low and midrange and procharger up high.

The air gaps are suppose to be better for cooling??? I run a 1 inch spacer on mine, doubt I’d notice any difference between the rpm and the rpm air gap.

I swapped the AU one off my 302w and the associated EFI gear for a brand new carb edlebrock rpm intake.

No didn’t end up getting it in the end, that was a few years ago. It was a genuine S pac Ute in chestnut with seirra tan interior. Factory 4 spd.
I showed too much interest as it was cheap as shit, but then the guy jacked the price up.

Yes that is correct with the AU, Scotty Sutton (On Facebook) has the E series and a trim of the AC bracket and it will clear.
