Well it turns out it is a 1 of 1 car, only one built!..351 4 speed LSD single tramp rod car, company special ordered who wants it!.. full resto needed but very very small amount of rust repair to do!. 14/05/2020 UPDATE! car was sold to a guy in Newcastle that is restoring it now, when he stripped the engine he found its stock bore with all original gaskets and seals so likely it had never been pulled apart before. He also found stamped on the block M WEBB and a date 2 months before it was built... I't'll make a nice addition to his car collection.

Well people, letter from Ford says Y045, Corporate Blue, XB colour, extra "5" on the plate was a freebie from Ford but under the rear seat and a couple of other places where the paint looks like new from the factory it appears to have very fine metallic in it.
-
so my Y0455 is??.. LoL.. buggered of I can find a formula for it!...anyone seen it before?., even the interior Trim code seems hard to find, it's B2

My XF's I have done were factory autos so the crossmember was reversed and, if I remember, moved back a hole???..
-
Put the engine number out there!!! theres a lot of Clevo owners that might keep an eye out for it for ya.

Hey everyone, anyone got the tool (in Perth) to compress the springs on a Clevo I can hire or buy?, not pulling the heads and I did it on one 10 years ago, weird looking device that bolts to the rocker pedestal. Putting a new camn chain kit in and springs. Cheers

Mine took 4.5 hours with 2 of us, reversed the rear crossmember, same tailshaft and everything, even the radiator, as long as its a C4 that is.. then off to the exhaust guy..I used XC block hugger tuned length Genies on it.

Easy bolt in in no time mate.. my 351/C4 conversion took 4.5 hours with a mate. I even used the stock radiator, the longest things to do that I couldnt do were changing the pulley on the power steering pump to slow it down and the exhaust which were both done next day. engineer???.. new brakes was all I did for the first few months, then fitted superlows, shocks and an XF Fairmont Ghia sway bar with new bushes.. 10 years ago and still truckin!! (with a bigger cam and new set of better heads the only thing thats been done to it since) Engineer??? nah.. same bodyshell, brakes etc as the previous V8 cars..

I agree.. had lotsa Clevos.. minimum taken out of the bore, make dead certain your lifter bores are perfect before you begin.. if not, get another block or have them machined and a set of bronze inserts put in.. these also limit the oil pumped away from the crank under sustained high revs when you set them up right. I have a few sets as I am about to my engine and a mates..
