It starts and runs fine All the above done . temp in middle of Gauge when I have trouble ..May be Thermostat ??? .. bear351c 10,325 Posted February 25, 2016 Sounds like a problem under load.. Did you change out the fuel filter ? Or as MNTL.XD said..trans fluid level OK? Sounds like its going into limp mode. Is the NF really hot under the bonnet, maybe your gauge is out of whack, and she's overheating. Try changing the 'stat for a cooler one, or grab a second hand radiator, maybe? Is the timing correct.?
