4" flares on XE width of rims etc

hey guys just wondering if anyone has put 4'' flares on a xe sedan and what was the max tyre size you can go without scrubbing issues

Considering I got 10's with 275 under a stock arse end without even folding the lips on the stock quarter's, you should smash 12's with 315s at least.

i spoke to a guy that sells 4'' flares and he reakons 16x8.5 and 16x10's and also cutting guards 65mm i reakon i could smack a huge set of rims on with the flares, yes i agree you have to cut guards but those sizes sound very small to me, it's the same bumper and flares on the greenstuf and it had 16x12 on front and 19x14 on rears i'm sure they didn't scrub, i thought going 18's all round with like 285 on rears and say 235's on front

i found an old email i got when i was gonna get some mags made they recommended 17x12 fronts and 19x14 rears i'm just scared of spending big $ for rims and tyres put them on and bang they scrub
