The hole is drilled and tapped larger than recoils, helicoil and may suit the hole you have left on the block. Once inserted the for pins get nocked in stopping it from un doing. Raymond Daley 4 Posted July 17, 2015 ok so after many phone call and visits to many stores I can not find anything that will work as its already one size bigger.... my only option was to go to a 1/2 hole and then it becomes to close to the water jacket and cylinder... so what I have done is tried this stuff called pro weld.. its a 2part glue/weld.. they reckon its a chemical weld.. but we will see.. i'll bolt the head down this weekend and see what happens.. gerg 10,871 Posted July 18, 2015 Sorry to say but I got a funny feeling the plug will pull straight out of that when you go to tighten it. I guess there's one way to find out. 1 Outback Jack reacted to this
