Leaking fuel

I've noticed my ute Is leaking fuel from the top of the tank from the seal anybody made any gaskets cause I got told ford Doesn't make them gaskets anymore and they are 63 buks from bursons so I kinda don't want to buy the new seal:(

i'l have a look at work (autobarn) and see if we can get one of these for a better price and then you will know where to look. i'm sure there should be plenty out there for it.

Problem sorted there was a wagon gasket on there this picture is the wagon gasket for the xf

This one if the ute gasket for some reason they are different

So hopefully It stops leaking so I don't fall asleep from the fumes while driving lol

ahh yeah beauty! it's odd that they have different seals isn't it. i wonder why they are so different?

Hmm interesting. I'll have a look at both my fuel tanks Thursday morning and see if I can notice any reason for them to be different.

 

At a guess it may be because wagon fuel tanks have the spare wheel on top of them, utes don't.
