Removing terminals from taillight globeholders

Is it possible to remove the terminal and wires going into the factory holders in an XF? if so, how?

Not sure but what are you trying to acheive?

Just cut them off and solder new ones on mate, if you talking the earth terminal that comes loose and breaks contact you could probs clean them right up and fuse some solder in there.

At least one of them is losing the positive feed intermitiently when you grabe the wire near the holder and wiggle it so i thought i'd clean them all up while im there. Really dont want to splice and solder if i can.
